3D Printing Model of Cristo del Picacho 🇭🇳

Part 3 of my Honduras Deco Collection. I decided to take on this project to challenge my 3D modeling/sculpting skills. And so far I’ve learned many things like:

1. I am in a love triangle with Rhino and Blender.
2. @bambulab_official is A1 🤌
3. @elegoo has an amazing Rock Marble PLA.
4. The more I make these pieces, the more I miss home.

The muscle detail and texture on this Lenca Warrior came out incredible. This is the second piece in my Honduras Deco Collection and I’m obsessed with how the Bambu Lab A1 handled these organic shapes.

Hand Painted Scarlet Macaw: 3D Printed using @anycubicofficial Red Silk PLA and finished with a coat of Resin✨🇭🇳

2 Options available:
- As printed: beautiful geometric/modern look, enhanced by the shine of the red silk PLA.

- Hand Painted: artisanal finish; with vibrant blue, yellow, and red of the macaw’s plumage. Finished with a coat of UV resin to achieve that glossy shine. Making the piece highly durable and aesthetic!

Did you know you can texture your 3D prints using only slicer settings?

For this map of Honduras, I adjusted the ironing speed on my Bambu Lab A1 with a 0.4mm nozzle to create this custom pattern. Adding a coat of UV resin over it made the details pop and gave it a polished final look. I even got it to match my tattoo perfectly. This is a great technique to try if you want unique finishes on your prints.
